Update to Stihl/Viking delivery policy

For some time now, Stihl have had a very strict distance selling policy that required us to hand over any of their products directly to our customers or to obtain proof of professional competency before dispatching goods via courier.

As of the 3rd June 2013, Stihl amended this policy to remove the exemption for proof of professional competency. This means that we cannot use a 3rd-party delivery service for their products and, therefore, restricts our ability to supply these items to customers who live too far from our South-East London base.

This means that we cannot use a 3rd-party delivery service for their products and, therefore, restricts our ability to supply these items to customers who live too far from our South-East London base.

In order to limit the impact of this policy we have increased the number of staff we have on the road and are able to deliver directly to the following postcode areas on a regular basis:

IP, CB, MK, OX, RG, SO, PO, BN, TN, CT, ME, CM, CO, SG, HP, GU, RH, LU, AL, SS, SL, WD, EN, IG, RM, DA, BR, CR, KT, TW, UB, WD, HA, NW, N, E, SE, SW, SM, WC, EC

Of course, you can always buy these items online and collect them in person from our showroom.
