The boys make their grand exit

We sent the boys on their way at a launch event at our shop in Sydenham on Sunday, with a pretty good turnout of well-wishers and supporters who all came along to wave the team off on their adventure.

We sent the boys on their way with a launch event at our shop in Sydenham on Sunday. We had a pretty good turnout of well-wishers and supporters who all came along to wave the team off on their adventure.

It also gave us a proper look at the finished car – resplendent with sponsor stickers, lion marks and, of course, the Lion himself on top. The team looked the part in their matching lion onesies, but they did look like they might be regretting their costume choice, given the heat! Well-wishers had the opportunity to leave good luck messages on the car and grab a selfie with the boys before they had to head off.

Keeping track of progress

Now that the team is on the road, we can keep track of their progress using the online tracking system, provided by sponsor Autowatch.

Progress has been pretty good so far – at the last check (Wednesday), they were already in the Czech Republic!

It’s not too late to give!
