1. 

   Get rid of the back seats, won’t be needing those

2. 

   Strip out anything else surplus to requirements, to make as much room as possible for supplies and cat swinging

3. 

   Put up some appropriate signage so everyone knows that men are at work, doing manly car things

4. 

   Crack out the heavy-duty lifting equipment

5. 

   Make some scientific measurements

6. 

   Hand craft a custom-specified sump guard from the highest quality material available (or cardboard, if that’s all you’ve got) to protect the car from attack from below
