The Phantom D3O eyelets have been changed to account for more climbers adopting the SRT climbing technique. The new closed slim line eyelets reduce the chance of catching or snagging climbing lines when used in conjunction with foot ascenders or when foot locking.

Manufactured using the highest grade of PERWANGER leather, this premium silicone impregnated rough-out leather has been manufactured in the Southern Tyrol region of Italy since 1780. PERWANGERS special process makes their product extremely water repellent whilst still remaining breathable. This leather is the most durable available and is made from the corium, the strongest part of the leather. To help protect the leather the Phantom is fitted a full rubber rand around the boot which is specially adhered to the leather alleviating any stitching.

For increased wearer comfort the Phantom D3O is fitted with WINDTEX a heat-regulating membrane which is windproof, waterproof and breathable.

Featuring D3O’s patented shock absorbing technology the Phantom is equipped with the D3O COMFORT insole. This insole uses D3O Decell an innovative material which brings strain rate sensitivity to the footwear market and offers superior cushioning and comfort. The D3O Comfort Insole has been rigorously tested by the NHS and UK Military.
