The EKI 2200/40 is powered by an inline mounted electric motor which offers advantages in terms of weight distribution therefore allow comfortable operation even over prolonged periods. The tool-free chain tensioning system and automatic chain lubrication ensures easy maintenance  and the 40cm Oregon guide bar and saw chain provide impressive cutting performance. With a chain brake and hand protection bar, this chainsaw offers high levels of safey during use.

Quickly Tensioned

The quick-tension chain wheel enables the chain to be tightened and set without tools – this means even the chain and guide bar can be changed quickly.

Crossline or Inline?

The powerful motors of the EKS models are arranged in the classic way at right angles to the guide bar (crossline), whereas the motor in the EKI model is fitted inline. This offers advantages in terms of weight distribution, thus allowing sawing without fatigue even when working over long periods.
