The EKS 2400/40 electic chainsaw features a tool-free chain tensioning system and automatic chain lubrication for easy maintenance. The perfect ergonomics provide fatigue free working whilst the high performance Oregon saw chain and 40cm guide bar combine with the poweful electric motor to provide great cutting performance.

Quickly Tensioned

The quick-tension chain wheel enables the chain to be tightened and set without tools – this means even the chain and guide bar can be changed quickly.

In their design, AL-KO electric chain saws not only offer a perfect look, but also feature powerful motors and original Oregon guide bars and chains for high-performance cutting and long durability. Automatic chain lubrication and the viewing window on the oil tank make maintenance easier.

Crossline or Inline?

The powerful motors of the EKS models are arranged in the classic way at right angles to the guide bar (crossline), whereas the motor in the EKI model is fitted inline. This offers advantages in terms of weight distribution, thus allowing sawing without fatigue even when working over long periods.
