The Stihl electric shredder GHE 105 prepares you for medium-sized shredding jobs throughout the gardening year. The garden shredder is particularly suitable if you mainly want to shred woody tree or hedge cuttings with a high proportion of wood. The cutting unit can efficiently shred branches up to 35 mm in diameter. This electric shredder offers a wide cloverleaf opening for effortless feeding of the clippings into the grinder. However the Stihl GHE 105 also transforms soft material such as flower cuttings or foliage into a nutrient-rich mixture that can be easily composted. You can add mixed clippings via a separate oblong feed opening. After use, the garden shredder can be easily moved to its storage location thanks to its transport wheels and low weight.

Blades with sandwich construction

The special sandwich-type blade system on the Stihl shredder shreds the material with minimal vibrations. Additional wing blades and ripping blades shred the material perfectly and ensure the shredding chamber remains clean.

Soundproofed feed chute

The large feed chute facilitates feeding of the Stihl shredder. The soundproofed feed chute reduces working noise when shredding in the garden. The integrated spray protection provides a shield against swirling dirt.

Safety lock

The electromagnetic safety lock prevents the garden shredder from starting automatically during maintenance operations or when the blade is being changed, for example. The safety switch is integrated in the opening mechanism on the Stihl shredder. As soon as the closure screws on the machine are unscrewed, the safety switch is tripped and the current flow is interrupted.

Cloverleaf opening

The cloverleaf opening in the feed chute makes it easier to feed branch material into the Stihl garden shredder and ensures maximum operating safety. Even branch material with side shoots and twigs can be fed easily into the wide opening and shredded efficiently. Soft clippings can be inserted through the adjacent rectangular opening on the garden shredder.

Multi Cut 103 cutting system

The blade unit on the Multi Cut 103 cutting system transforms the Stihl electric shredder GHE 105 into a versatile machine. It can chip hard branch material and shred soft green clippings as well as plant trimmings to a consistently small size. The multi-bucket tooth disc incorporates reversible chipping blades, wing blades and an aluminium counter-cutter.

Touch pad switch

The housing of the Stihl shredder is fitted with a touch pad switch and an operating indicator to allow simple and intuitive operation of the garden shredder.
