Achieve the classic British stripe effect to your lawn with the Stihl RM 545 VR 43cm/17” rear roller model. Easy handling and the sturdy lightweight polymer chassis guarantee excellent results. ReadyStart engine: petrol engine starts with one easy pull, no priming required due to an automatic choke. Easy 6-setting central cutting height adjustment. 60 litre volume catcher box with level indicator. 3-setting height adjustable handle. Suitable for gardens with lawns up to 1200m². The RM 545 VR comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).

Easy start engine (ReadyStart)

Thanks to the ReadyStart technology, the engine of the Stihl petrol lawn mower can be reliably started up with minimal effort both during cold and warm starting.

Rear roller

This lawn roller lends the Stihl lawn mower great stability, which is great for mowing edges around borders and flower beds. When mowing, the lawn roller smooths the blades of grass in the direction of travel, creating the characteristic striped pattern on the freshly-mown lawn.

Vario self-drive

The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the Stihl lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

Highlift blade

The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and ensures optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing, which makes the grass stand upright before cutting and efficiently carries the clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful air flow system.

Fold-open grass catcher box with level indicator

The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying.

Smooth running wheels

The smooth running wheels of the Stihl lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and to help hold perfect line during mowing.

Foldable handlebar

Thanks to its foldable handlebars, the lawn mower can be made even more compact for space-saving storage or for transport.

Polymer housing

The extremely lightweight polymer housing combines high resistance and robustness against forces, heat and UV radiation.

Height-adjustable handlebar

The handlebar can be set to several positions to suit your body height. This individual height adjustment ensures greater comfort without affecting the stability or manoeuvrability of the Stihl lawn mower.

Central cutting height adjustment

The central cutting height adjustment is spring-loaded, which makes it easy to set the desired cutting height in several settings. The current height is indicated by a scale.

Self-propelled

Self-propelled Stihl lawn mowers take the effort out of lawn mowing. The drive mechanism propels the mower without it physically having to be pushed. This makes working easier, especially on large lawns and inclines.
