With a cutting width of 53cm/21″ and Vario drive, the RM 655 V petrol lawn mower is the perfect choice when it comes to maintaining large lawns up to 2500m². The Vario drive system allows you easily change the working speed of the mower without affecting the blade/engine speed, so the mower is always performing at its best. Other practical features include the central seven-setting cutting height adjustment, which is adjustable from 25 to 85 mm and ensures a precise cutting pattern. The foldable and height adjustable mono-comfort handlebar makes emptying the grass catcher box quick and easy. The 70l catcher box has a grass level indicator which tells you when the grass needs emptying so you don’t overfill and block the chute. The RM 655 V petrol lawn mower is a powerful mower which will make short work of cutting your lawn. The RM 655 V comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).

Vario self-drive

The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the Stihl lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

Mulching function

During mulching, the mulching blade shreds the mown grass before it falls back into the turf as a nutritional fertiliser. And the machine can also be converted into a Multi-mower.

Multi-blade

Thanks to the specially shaped cutting blades, the multi-blade of the Stihl petrol lawn mower shreds the mown grass. When using the grass catcher box, it is then efficiently conveyed in the box. During mulch mowing, the mown grass is directly ejected onto the lawn so that it falls back onto the turf as a nutritional fertiliser.

The plastic grass catcher box can be easily opened and emptied thanks to its folding mechanism. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures a high degree of filling. Thanks to the downward-facing vanes, the air is guided sideways towards the ground, preventing dirt from being thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying.

Smooth running wheels

The smooth running wheels of the Stihl lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and to help hold perfect line during mowing.
