Using Stihl PRO batteries, the RMA 2 RT cordless mulching lawn mower with single-speed drive features easy to fold handlebars for compact storage. Flow optimised mulching blades and switchable (on/off) eco mode increase battery run time and allows full power use for tougher areas of grass. A dual battery compartment offers space to store a spare battery when needed, giving the operator the option to double the lawn area coverage. The RMA 2 RT will cover up to 420 m2 with a new AP 200 battery or up to 500 m2 with AP 300.

This machines performance will be reduced if using with a Stihl AP100 battery.

Easy-running wheels

The easy-running wheels of our cordless lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing.

Carrying handle

The Stihl battery-powered lawn mower has a carrying handle integrated into the housing for ease of transport. The handle makes the cordless mower easier to load or return to the upright position. Foldable handlebar

Eco mode

When eco mode is activated, the speed of the lawn mower motor is automatically adapted to the actually required power. As a result, the Stihl battery-powered lawn mower consumes very little energy and can cover a larger area before it needs to be recharged.

Mulching function

This mulching specialist features effective cutting technology. The clippings are finely shredded and evenly distributed over the lawn immediately after being mulched. Consistent mulch mowing reduces lawn thatch. The mulching function dispenses with the disposal of clippings and provides the lawn with moisture and important nutrients.

Self-propelled

Self-propulsion automatically provides the desired forward momentum when using a cordless lawn mower. This makes working easier, especially when dealing with large lawns and inclines. Many of the Stihl battery-powered lawn mower models are equipped with self-propulsion.

Vertical adjustment

To adapt the cutting height on this Stihl battery-powered lawn mower, the front wheel and rear wheel axles can be adjusted separately. This height adjustment for each axle enables the grass length to be varied as appropriate to the respective terrain, time of year and individual lawns.

Aluminium housing
