Product Description

The Protection Zip Turtleneck mid layer is a thicker garment (400g) used to increase insulation between the Protection base layer and the wind and water resistant outer layer. Woolpower Full Zip Jacket Protection 400 is made from Woolpower’s Protection 400 fabric combining merino wool with aramide, beltron and elastane to provide Flame Resistance, Antistatic and Electric Arc protection.

Woolpower Protection 400 has an extremely high ATPV value of 34.3 cal/cm².

The Zip Turtleneck has a high collar, a short neck zipper to allow for ventilation. Made from circular knit fabric with terry loops and no lenghtwise seams, it is longer at the back to prevent gaps.

These thicker garments are used as mid layers to increase insulation between the base layer and the wind and water resistant outer layer.

Mid Layer garments are usually used at lower temperatures and lower activity levels.
